Job Description
We need someone who’s both passionate and knowledgeable about digital communications and marketing analytics to fill a highly visible and responsible role in our newly formed channel team.

What’s the role?
Reporting to the Channel & Insights Manager, you’ll be a vital part of our newly established channel team – the go-to digital marketing guru for our Benelux and France region. Working across all digital and media comms channels, you’ll keep stretching your analytical and conceptual skills to translate customer insights into digital customer offerings and personal communications.

Always looking for opportunities to create additional value, you’ll help deliver strong ROI and business growth by championing the team’s use of paid, earned and owned (digital) channels and via robust analytics and appraisal of our (digital) media campaigns, including (but not limited to) YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Radio and ranging between mobile, desktop, app’s and/or (digital-)OOH . Beyond that, there are plenty of challenges. You’ll be instrumental in shaping an improved digital Retail experience; you’ll spearhead exciting digital and social media initiatives and help to develop innovative digital communications activities with our agency partners.

If you love to cultivate strong working relationships, you’ll be in your element here. You’ll work closely with our Brand & Customer Value Proposition (CVP) team to develop the integrated communications plan, and to translate marketing campaigns into relevant content for the various digital channels. You’ll also enjoy sharing your skills and knowledge, whether that’s by managing a direct report (who works on our Air Miles communications) or by coaching and inspiring the wider team – your infectious enthusiasm will help us to grow our in-house expertise.

What we need from you
Whether you’re an established expert or an emerging talent, we’re looking for a variety of experience in digital communication activities, marketing analytics experience and/or Loyalty. Management experience would be useful, but not essential; if you’ve shown you can influence and steer others, we’ll help you make the most of your leadership potential.

Because it’s such a pivotal role, you’ll need to convince us you’re an effective collaborator both within your team and with internal and external partners. The ability to communicate clearly and translate specialist language into easy to understand terms is also important.

Beyond that, we want to hear from men and women with as many of the following as possible:

  • A formal marketing qualification or good experience in marketing communications.
  • Proven project delivery skills.
  • Digital expertise and strong activation and measurement skills
  • Good knowledge of channel marketing management, with a specific focus on paid media
  • Natural commercial and economic acumen
  • Success in generating insights, strategic marketing planning; brand and proposition management, marketing activation
